  • Develop current-state line balancing plans and conduct Muri analysis to identify overburden in processes.
  • Create current-state and future-state Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify waste, bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies.
  • Perform capacity analysis and establish baseline manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Identify productivity improvement opportunities and develop Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 improvement recommendations with implementation roadmaps.
  • Develop and update standard work instructions and video-based work instructions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, defects, and production downtime.
  • Support corrective actions, Kaizen activities, and continuous improvement initiatives with detailed implementation plans.
  • Support fixture design activities based on manufacturing and process requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Mandatory hands-on shopfloor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in time study and line balancing.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process analysis, and capacity analysis.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, standard work documentation, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Video time study and operator-workstation analysis.
  • VA/NVA/RNVA analysis and Muri analysis.
  • Assembly line optimization and productivity improvement.
  • Standard work and work instruction development.
  • Manufacturing fixture design support.

  • Important: Candidates must have practical manufacturing shopfloor experience, particularly in time study, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, and VSM.
