Introduction
We are seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician in Canton, OH! This family-owned shop offers $25-$30/hour, weekly profit sharing, a 4-day workweek, and paid training!
This is a TEAM-FIRST shop where A-Level Technicians handle advanced diagnostics and work closely with B-Level Technicians to complete repairs. If you\'re strong at mechanical repairs, enjoy turning wrenches, and want a supportive environment where everyone helps each other, this is a great opportunity!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform brake repairs, alignments, gasket replacements, and heavy mechanical repairs.
- Complete head gasket repairs and transmission removal and replacement (R&R).
- Handle basic to intermediate diagnostics, including check engine lights, EVAP issues, and misfires.
- Complete repairs diagnosed by A-Level Technicians and return vehicles for final verification.
- Review repair estimates and parts lists to ensure everything needed is available.
- Communicate with Service Advisors and fellow technicians to keep work moving efficiently.
- Continue building skills in timing belts, water pumps, and more advanced repairs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience required.
- Strong mechanical repair and parts replacement skills.
- Experience with brakes, alignments, engine repairs, and transmission R&R.
- Ability to perform basic to intermediate drivability diagnostics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review repair estimates.
- Team-oriented attitude, good communication, and willingness to learn.
