Role Summary
We are seeking an IT Architect – Integrations who will shape and lead enterprise integration strategy across a complex aviation technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for architecting secure, scalable, and modern integration solutions that accelerate digital transformation and enhance operational efficiency. You will design the integration patterns that unify critical platforms, ensure real-time data flow, and enable seamless interactions across internal systems and external partners.
In this role, you will drive modernization efforts, advance API-first and event-driven architectures, and guide development teams toward best-in-class engineering practices. You will also play a key role in governance, reliability engineering, and the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect scalable, secure integration solutions using Azure services including Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Logic Apps
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications leveraging Azure resources such as Application Insights, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using API-first principles and secure coding practices
• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps environment
• Collaborate closely with Product, Enterprise Applications, and business stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose integration solutions
• Establish observability, monitoring, and performance standards to ensure high availability and resilience
• Provide architectural direction and mentorship to distributed development teams, both onsite and offshore
• Lead modernization initiatives including microservices adoption, event-driven design, and the evolution of legacy systems
• Participate in the Architecture Review Board to ensure enterprise alignment and governance
• Support innovation initiatives including AI-driven automation, predictive analytics, and decision support
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with extensive software development experience
• 7 or more years of middleware or integration experience with at least 3 full Azure project lifecycles
• Azure Solution Architect, Azure Developer, and Azure Administrator certifications required
• Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, integration design, infrastructure development, and automation
• Strong programming background with API Core, API development, and secure coding practices
• Proven experience guiding or leading distributed development teams
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, or Boomi
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and on-premise integration patterns
• Knowledge of aviation, logistics, or operations technology preferred
• Experience architecting AI/ML integrations or predictive solutions
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
