Job Role:
We are seeking an experienced PEB_MBS_ Designer(Detailer/Drafter) to support metal building design and detailing activities. Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with US-based clients and stakeholders.
Strong coordination skills with engineering, detailing, fabrication, project management, and offshore teams.
The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of Metal Building Systems (MBS/PEB), good coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with engineering, detailing, fabrication, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong hands-on experience in Metal Building Systems / Pre-Engineered Buildings (MBS/PEB) demonstrated US project exposure will be preferred.
- Experience with MBS_PEB modelling and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of fabrication and erection requirements.
- Knowledge of US metal building industry practices and standards is preferred.
- Good knowledge of drawing preparation, checking, and document control.
- Comfortable working with both onsite and offshore engineering/detailing teams.
- Develop and review MBS/PEB building models, layouts, framing arrangements, and associated design/detailing deliverables.
- Review model outputs, drawings, BOM/MTO, and fabrication-related information for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify clashes, inconsistencies, constructability issues and provide resolution.
- Support preparation and checking of shop/fabrication drawings and related
- Assist in developing standard practices, checklists, templates, and workflows for MBS/PEB projects.
