We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Permanent Maintenance Manager with Foundry experience to join our thriving Manufacturing team. This role is integral to our operations and requires a professional who is comfortable with high-level decision-making, team management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preventive maintenance, facility management, and project management, with a keen understanding of budgeting and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and managing all maintenance operations in our foundry, ensuring all machinery and equipment are in top-notch condition.
  • Developing, implementing, and managing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Managing facility operations, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, efficient, and well-maintained.
  • Leading and overseeing various projects, including new installations, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Developing and managing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all maintenance efforts.
  • Leading a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Using your welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming expertise to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues.
  • Driving continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensuring all operations are compliant with OSHA standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Managing hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring their efficient and safe operation.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in a foundry or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance, facility management, and project management.
  • Strong budgeting skills and experience managing budgets.
  • Demonstrated team leadership abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in welding, hydraulics, and PLC programming.
  • Experience in process improvement, with a track record of driving efficiency and productivity enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • A solid understanding of OSHA compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
