A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead its second-shift maintenance team. This position is responsible for improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, strengthening preventive maintenance programs, and supporting safe, uninterrupted production.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance work based on production needs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, instrumentation, and equipment failures.
  • Reduce recurring breakdowns through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance activities through the CMMS.
  • Support TPM, reliability-centered maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs, including downtime, OEE, work-order completion, and equipment reliability.
  • Enforce OSHA, EPA, food safety, and company safety requirements.
  • Assist with maintenance labor, repair, and capital planning.
  • Partner with Production and Operations to minimize disruptions.
  • Develop technical training plans and improve team capabilities.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance technicians.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and industrial troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with CMMS, preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and TPM.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety practices.
  • Food, beverage, consumer products, or other high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent technical experience considered.
  • Willingness to work second shift, extended hours, and occasional weekends.
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and production-floor environments.
