Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration:  12 months with possible extension
Location:  Remote

About the Role
We’re looking for a cloud-savvy BI expert to help elevate our analytics ecosystem as we transition from us on?prem Tableau Server to the full power of Tableau Cloud.
This contract role blends technical execution, platform craftsmanship, and data?driven problem?solving strengthening our enterprise BI foundation while shaping the future of cloud-first insights.

What You’ll Do
Migration & Platform Evolution
  • Lead the end?to?end migration journey from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud—ensuring a smooth, stable, and scalable transition.
  • Configure and administer Tableau Cloud environments including sites, projects, permissions, SSO, row-level security, and performance tuning.
  • Clean up and rationalize existing content; refresh, refine, or fully redesign dashboards and data sources when needed.

Data Architecture & Visualization Excellence
  • Maintain and optimize Tableau Cloud dashboards to deliver fast, intuitive, business-ready insights.
  • Support the full lifecycle of modern cloud data architecture—from planning and deployment to ongoing enhancement.
  • Design and manage data preparation workflows using Tableau Prep and Alteryx, aligned with cloud data pipelines.

Governance & Best Practices
  • Implement data certification standards to elevate trust, reliability, and consistency across dashboards and data sources.
  • Develop documentation, patterns, and runbooks—empowering internal teams to operate confidently after the engagement.

Cross?Platform BI Support
  • Provide guidance on Power BI Service usage including workspace design, datasets, governance, and its coexistence within a dual?platform BI environment.

What You Bring
Technical Expertise
  • Strong enterprise-level Tableau experience, with deep exposure to Tableau Cloud and/or large Tableau Server deployments.
  • Demonstrated success migrating Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud in complex organizations.
  • Advanced Tableau Cloud admin skills paired with solid dashboard development capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience creating production workflows with Tableau Prep and Alteryx.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI Service and hybrid BI ecosystems.
  • A solid understanding of modern cloud data architecture principles.

Data Governance & Quality
  • Experience setting up and maintaining governance frameworks, including dashboard and data source certification.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*:  $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
