Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect with strong .NET expertise to design, build, and modernize enterprise-grade cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting scalable, secure, and highly available applications on AWS while leveraging the Microsoft .NET technology stack. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive cloud transformation initiatives, application modernization, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for .NET applications.
• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework/.NET 6+.
• Architect microservices-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Design RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, networking, and compliance.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and AWS infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and business teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership on cloud architecture and best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture and cloud solution design.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework/.NET 6/7/8.
• Expertise in AWS services including:
• EC2
• Lambda
• ECS/EKS
• API Gateway
• S3
• RDS
• DynamoDB
• CloudWatch
• SNS/SQS
• IAM
• VPC
• Route 53
• CloudFormation
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong SQL knowledge with SQL Server and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Experience implementing security and compliance best practices in AWS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate.
• AWS DevOps Engineer Certification.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
