Summary
Role: Senior Genetec Access Control & Video Platform System Administrator
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (onsite)
Contract Length: 12-month assignment
Must Have:
- Have both Synergis and Omnicast experience
- Hold an active Genetec Enterprise certification
- Have extensive hands-on administration/programming experience in enterprise environments
Key Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and administer Genetec systems remotely
- Add, remove, and troubleshoot access control and video devices
- Monitor site performance and configure alarm management
- Partner with local installers on logical programming and device setup
- Support ongoing deployment activities across multiple global locations
- This is a hands-on system administration/programming role and is not an installation or field technician position
- No travel requirements were discussed
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of hands-on Genetec administration and programming experience
- Strong experience with both:
- Genetec Synergis (Access Control)
- Genetec Omnicast (Video Management)
- Candidates with only video management experience will not be considered
- Must hold Genetec certification through at least the Enterprise level
- Client will not sponsor or pay for certification
- Demonstrated experience programming and managing enterprise-level Genetec environments
- Degree is not required; relevant experience is the primary focus
- Industry background is flexible
