Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role involves performing moderately-complex to complex manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with a focus on the inspection and packaging of product-filled vials. This is a 100% onsite position requiring work on a 12-hour rotating night shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
Responsibilities: - Routinely perform moderately-complex to complex processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Inspect and package product-filled vials per procedures and batch records
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Set up, operate, and make necessary adjustments to equipment
- Assist in manufacturing and internal support operations (e.g., stocking items, tracking inventory, material movement)
- Recognize and report malfunctions
- Train new technicians on routine tasks
- Reconcile components and products and calculate product exposure to room temperature
- Load materials into machines and operate manual and/or electric pallet jacks
Requirements: - High school/GED plus 1 year of work or military experience, or an Associate degree
- Filling and finishing manufacturing experience, preferably vial inspection
- Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Skilled in computer literacy
- Committed to continuous learning through self-motivation
- Effective in a collaborative team environment
Pay range: up to $23.35 per hour
