BIM Modeler

Job Title: BIM Modeler

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeler to create and manage digital 3D models for construction and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will support design, coordination, and documentation using BIM tools like Revit and Navisworks.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, or MEP systems

·         Create 2D drawings, layouts, and construction documents from BIM models

·         Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate designs

·         Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks or similar tools

·         Update models based on design changes and project requirements

·         Ensure compliance with project standards and BIM protocols

·         Assist in quantity take-offs and project documentation

Required Skills:

·         Strong experience with Autodesk Revit

·         Knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360

·         Understanding of construction drawings and MEP/Architectural/Structural systems

·         Familiarity with BIM standards and workflows

·         Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or related field

·         2+ years of experience in BIM modeling

·         Experience working on commercial or residential construction projects preferred

Nice to Have:

·         Experience with Dynamo, Civil 3D, or Revit Families

·         Knowledge of US building codes and standards

·         BIM certification (Autodesk or equivalent)
