Senior Engineer (Python)

Contract description

• Develop backend portfolio construction modules to generate custom Fixed Income Sample Portfolios.
• Upgrade and maintain backend services supporting the Custom Equity Transition Analysis platform.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs that interface with internal UIs used by SMA Specialists, CPMs, and WMI partners.
• Deploy and manage cloud native services using AWS components such as Lambda, S3, EKS, and SQS.
• Collaborate with Quant and Distribution tech teams to ensure high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in programming in Python, including frameworks for service development.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD workflows.
• Strong background in building RESTful services and integrating APIs with frontend applications.
• Cloud engineering experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, EKS, SQS) and containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
• Experience in front office or trading application development, with working knowledge of equity financial concepts or buy-side asset management.
