Barclays Corporate Digital Banking is hiring for a new Director role: Principal Engineer - Cloud Transformation & Teradata Exit.
The role holder will:
- Produce options analysis and propose technical decisions for complex problems
- Hands-on engineer beta / poc versions of data engineering solutions
- Guide and mentor the data engineering community
- Face-off to a 3rd party fixed price outcome-based team, steering them technically
- Participate in Scaled Agile ceremonies to enable the data engineering teams
The ideal candidate will have:
- Deep expertise in Data Engineering
- Technical guidance and mentoring for a global community of engineers and technical architects
- Ability to provide technical leadership and decision-making to large Cloud migration programmes
- Scaled agile or similar framework experience
- Financial services experience
Salary / Rate Minimum: $ 200,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $ 280,000
