Senior Application Developer (Conversational AI & Real-Time Systems)Location: Onsite, 5 days per week, Carrollton, TX

About the OpportunityJoin a high-impact engineering team building next-generation conversational and communication platforms that power real-time customer interactions at scale. This team owns critical services across voice, SMS, virtual agents, and contact center integrations.
You will be part of a specialized Natural Language and Automation team, a small and highly collaborative group where each engineer has meaningful ownership and direct influence on product direction. What You Will Work On- Design and build real-time, AI-driven conversational systems supporting voice and customer interactions
- Develop intelligent virtual agents that can:
- Understand caller intent
- Determine call routing and disposition
- Transition smoothly between automation and human agents
- Stream and process live voice data with a focus on low latency and scalability
- Build internal tools for prompting strategies, agent behavior, workflow orchestration, and call analytics
- Contribute across a modern communication stack including telephony platforms, contact centers, messaging, and conversational workflows
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Own services end-to-end including architecture, development, deployment, and production support
- Build scalable and highly available distributed systems
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time
- Work in a DevOps-focused environment with shared ownership of infrastructure and deployments
Core Requirements- Strong full-stack engineering experience with emphasis on backend systems
- Hands-on experience with Golang or Python in distributed environments
- Experience working with real-time or event-driven systems
- Strong experience with AWS and Kubernetes, especially EKS
- Comfortable owning infrastructure, deployments, and system reliability
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Solid understanding of API design, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with telephony or VoIP systems
- Familiarity with FreeSWITCH
- Background in contact center platforms or CRM integrations
- Exposure to conversational AI or prompt engineering
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Linux systems experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as AWS CDK or similar tools

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.11/hr.
