Project Manager Senior

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Project Manager Senior with a technology company. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a remote position.

Summary:

In this vital role within the Precision Medicine Unit, the Precision Medicine Program Manager works closely with the Precision Medicine Lead to advance the development and execution of Precision Medicine plans. You will serve as the steward of a cross-functional team to develop and execute translational and precision medicine strategies to support asset development across the product lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional senior stakeholders and teams across Research & Development.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main steward of the Precision Medicine Team (PMT) overall program timelines, study pull-through and team efficiency
• Drive the strategic planning, development and ensure execution of high quality, integrated cross-functional Precision Medicine Plans in support of the overall asset strategy & value
• Apply Project Management best practices in the planning, development, initiation, execution, QA/QC, and closing of projects
• Co-lead content creation in preparation for cross-functional meetings, such as technical reviews, Portal Reviews, and Governance
• Conduct critical path analysis, recognize and communicate inflection points with mitigation strategies
• Serve as an integrator to the Evidence Generation Teams (EGTs) and Product Teams (PTs) while ensuring connectivity with other functions
• Drive risk management and effective communication plans
• Ensure on-time delivery and drive adherence to plan (time, budget and scope)

Requirements:

• Master's degree and 5+ years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in a relevant field
• Clinical Program Management experience
• Clinical trial operations experience
• Scientific/drug development experience
• Prior pharma/consulting and/or drug development experience including deep experience in one or more core drug development and commercialization functions
• Experience leading teams through governance processes
• Development experience in a program involving one or more of the following: Research, early or late development, Diagnostics, novel biomarkers, Computational Biology, or RWE
• Experience using Project Management and AI/ML tools, methodologies, practices and infrastructure, as related to the Biopharmaceutical Industry
• Highly experienced on MS Suite tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc) and project management software such as Smartsheet, Planisware, SharePoint, etc

Desired skills:

• M.S. or higher preferred
• 10+ years of experience is preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience on late research and early development projects
• Exposure to one or more of the following TAs: Rare Disease, CV/Metabolic, and/or Obesity
• Finance and budget management experience
• Knowledge of SOPs, good clinical practices and regulatory requirements

Pay range: Up to $77.13 per Hour
