Senior Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from initiation through successful delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder management, resource allocation, risk management, budget control, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across business and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and corrective actions.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively resolve issues.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, costs, and financial reporting.
• Establish effective governance, project controls, status reporting, and communication processes.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, business, and technical requirements.
• Manage change requests and assess their impact on scope, schedule, cost, and resources.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners when required.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, processes, and applicable standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement project management best practices.
• Lead project closure activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and transition to operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of overall experience, with significant experience managing complex projects.
• Proven experience leading large, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience managing technology, digital transformation, ERP, software implementation, or enterprise projects.
• Experience working with geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Strong experience with executive-level reporting and governance.
• Experience managing external vendors, contracts, and service providers.
