Summary

Position Title: Senior Consultant - Network Security

Position Location: Remote in the United States

Job Summary:

As a Senior Consultant within our Digital Infrastructure Practice, you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation initiatives for our clients. Leveraging your expertise in infrastructure technologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and security.

This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, and providing design assistance for complex network and security solutions across enterprise client environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting background, deep expertise in next-generation firewalls.

This is a client-facing role requiring both technical excellence and the ability to deliver high-quality project outcomes in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, migrate, and support network and security solutions across customer environments
  • Provide design assistance and validation for network and security architectures in collaboration with internal architects and client stakeholders
  • Serve as a technical SME for next-generation firewall platforms including:
    • Juniper
    • Aruba
    • Fortinet
    • Cisco
    • Palo Alto
  • Perform network assessments and provide implementation-focused recommendations
  • Execute complex migrations (e.g., firewall replacements, SD-WAN transitions, data center modernization)
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including implementation guides, as-built documentation, and runbooks
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to customers and internal teams
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, remote users)
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in networking and cybersecurity


Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network security and enterprise networking
  • Proven experience in a consulting or professional services role (customer-facing project delivery)
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS, Panorama)
    • Fortinet FortiGate / FortiManager
    • Cisco firewalls (ISE, Firepower, FMC)
    • Juniper firewalls (SRX Series)
    • Aruba (Clearpass)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs)
    • VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
    • Network segmentation and zero trust architectures
  • Ability to create clear and professional technical documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as:
    • Palo Alto (PCNSE/PCNSC)
    • Fortinet (NSE 6/7/8)
    • Cisco (CCNP, CCIE)
    • Juniper (JNCIS, JNCIA)
    • Aruba (ACDP, ACCX, ADCNS)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud networking
  • Familiarity with identity integrations (Azure AD, SAML, MFA) in SASE environments
  • Experience deploying or supporting SDWAN and SASE Solutions
  • Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, APIs)
  • Prior experience working for a VAR, MSP, or consulting organization
