Job Description
Required Education:
- High school diploma with 2-4 years of application development experience

Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field

Required Experience:
- Software development experience in at least two of: Web/API development (.NET stack); UI technologies (React, Angular, Node.js, etc.); Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
- In-depth knowledge of Web Services, XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, and caching
- Experience with Azure DevOps workflows and Agile methodologies
- Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and database optimization
- Experience with source control (Git)
- Ability to learn new coding languages and technologies

Preferred Experience:
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise or government applications, particularly systems involving complex integrations, high-volume data, or sensitive/confidential information
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, application monitoring, performance optimization, and secure software development practices
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver application enhancements
- Familiarity with modern software architecture, microservices, containerization, APIs, and cloud-native development in Azure or comparable environments

Job Summary:
OSDH is seeking an Application Developer to support the planning, execution, and finalization of IT-related projects, ensuring delivery within deadlines and budget under OSDH direction. The developer will write high-quality, maintainable, reusable, and secure code, resolve complex system integration challenges, and work closely with business stakeholders to design solutions in an Agile environment.

Job Duties:
- Write high-quality, maintainable, reusable, and secure code
- Resolve complex system integration challenges in collaboration with external teams
- Work with business stakeholders to understand pain points and design solutions
- Review and contribute to technical designs within an Agile environment
- Implement features and demonstrate developed functionality
- Build and enhance cloud-based applications
- Monitor performance and manage parameters for fast front-end responses
- Help automate and improve development workflows
- Study feasibility of proposed software applications or system modifications, identifying requirements and system restrictions
