Our Client, a global leader in delivering diverse Technologies is seeking a QA Engineer for modernizing a legacy LAMP-based web application platform supporting high-volume transactional workflows. This role will establish and execute a regression-driven QA function to validate system behavior across current and upgraded environments. A substantial set of documented manual test cases already exists; the focus is to operationalize and extend these into a structured, repeatable regression framework. Some database performance testing is required as well.

Key Responsibilities:
Experience with PHP applications or LAMP environments
Familiarity with modernization/migration projects
Technical Writing Skills
Ability to read Code (JavaScript / PHP)
Multi-environment comparison testing
Familiarity with PHP Unit
Redis/session-state awareness
Basic AWS/cloud exposure

What You’ll Do:
Convert existing manual test cases into a structured regression suite
Construct performance tests for database transactions and reports
Identify and prioritize critical business workflows
Execute testing across current and modernized environments
Validate backend data integrity using SQL (MySQL)
Classify defects (regression vs legacy, severity, business impact)
Implement targeted automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
Document test processes and results
Support GO/NO-GO decision points
Mentor and transition knowledge to internal QA staff

Required Skills:
5+ years QA experience with web applications
Strong regression test design from incomplete requirements
Experience testing multi-step transactional workflows
SQL proficiency for backend validation
Experience with browser automation tools
Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
Strong written communication
