Overview We are seeking an experienced Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) development programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in ground-launched missile or munitions flight testing, system integration, verification and validation, and execution of Developmental and Operational Test activities.
Key Responsibilities - Plan, implement, integrate, test, document, and maintain solutions for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS systems, subsystems, and components.
- Translate customer requirements into effective test strategies while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Develop and execute comprehensive system and subsystem integration and test plans, procedures, schedules, and reports.
- Define functional and technical specifications, interface requirements, and input/output parameters.
- Conduct Developmental Test (DT), Operational Test (OT), and Flight Test activities to validate system performance.
- Coordinate test activities across engineering teams, program management, customers, and stakeholders.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed verification and validation reports.
- Generate discrepancy reports, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
- Execute regression testing to verify fixes and ensure system performance and compliance with requirements.
- Support customer reviews, test readiness reviews, and program milestone events.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in system design, integration, testing, and requirements verification/validation of electrical or weapon systems.
- Extensive experience supporting:
- Flight Testing
- Operational Flight Test (OFT)
- Developmental Test (DT)
- Operational Test (OT)
- Verification & Validation (V&V)
- Minimum 6 years of experience developing:
- Test plans
- Test procedures
- Test execution schedules
- Test reports
- Customer and stakeholder review packages
Preferred Qualifications - Direct experience with ground-launched missile systems, munitions, or weapon systems testing.
- Experience supporting Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) programs.
- Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements management, and system integration methodologies.
- Experience integrating hardware, software, and communication subsystems in complex defense systems.
- Familiarity with military test standards, test readiness reviews, and evaluation reporting.
