Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT / AV Project Manager to support Unified Communications initiatives for our client in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and will be fully onsite.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing AV and Unified Communications projects, coordinating hardware installations across multiple locations, and supporting video conferencing and collaboration technologies.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate Unified Communications (UC) projects
Oversee AV hardware installation across multiple sites
Coordinate AV integration for new and existing buildings
Conduct site surveys and develop project plans
Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of UC systems
Train government users on UC and collaboration systems
Prepare operational documentation and user guides
Manage AV deployment schedules and integration timelines
Work with engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to gather requirements
Develop cost proposals and assist with project budgeting
Maintain asset inventory and equipment accountability
Manage configuration and build processes for UC systems

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience as an IT or AV Project Manager
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Experience managing IT infrastructure or AV deployment projects
Strong project planning and coordination skills

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following:

Crestron
Microsoft Teams Room Systems
Skype for Business
Cisco Video Conferencing
Haivision
Mass Notification Systems
Land Mobile Radio
