Job Title: Workday HRMS Lead
Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday HRMS Lead to drive the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of enterprise HR systems. This role will serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-impact HR solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday HRMS solutions across core HR, payroll, and related modules.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
  • Oversee system enhancements, integrations, and data migrations to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and organizational policies.
  • Provide leadership in system optimization, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and best practices.
  • Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on Workday best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in HR systems, with strong expertise in Workday HRMS.
  • Proven experience leading Workday implementations or enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, payroll systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio is a plus).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification(s) in relevant modules.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or government environments.
  • Familiarity with data security, governance, and audit requirements.
  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
