Key Responsibilities
- Provide location data for company facilities to internal and external construction and maintenance personnel.
- Distribute, monitor, track, and archive external construction project plans.
- Monitor and administer access to internal support platforms.
- Perform basic maintenance and editing of existing internal support platforms as needed.
- Create facility map packets for private and public projects using specialized mapping software, and provide finished products to government agencies, engineering consultants, and other third-party customers.
- Receive and distribute project notifications for public improvement projects to the appropriate company manager/designer.
- Create notification numbers for engineering projects.
- Apply for Right-of-Way (ROW) permits from state and local government entities for engineering, construction, and maintenance projects, and follow up until approved.
- Submit 48-hour notification of intent to start construction projects to relevant state agencies and other entities as required.
- Digitally sign client plan sets when required by local government entities.
- Coordinate easement encroachments for engineering projects.
- Facilitate the coordination of supply shutdowns between internal teams and external partners.
- Prepare and send construction documentation packages with required construction drawings, work orders, environmental reports, budget approvals, etc., to all concerned parties.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite and specialized mapping and enterprise resource planning software in support of engineering.
- Perform additional duties as directed in support of engineering and operations.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- No prior experience required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and detail-oriented.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and office equipment.
