Job Title: Salesforce Automation Test Lead

Location: Madison, WI or Plymouth, MN

Duration: Long term contract

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for Salesforce UI, data, and API testing.
  2. Develop, document, and execute automation scripts to support regression and integration testing.
  3. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, repeatable releases.
  4. Provide technical leadership on automation standards, code reviews, and best practices

Required qualifications:

  • 10+ years of QA experience, with 7+ years designing automation for Salesforce applications.
  • Deep Project Experience testing in Sales, Service, Heath, Marketing and Experience Cloud.
  • Proven ability to build, document, and maintain automation frameworks for Salesforce UI and API testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools (Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium/WebdriverIO, Testim, or Katalon).
  • Expertise in API testing for Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP; tools like Postman/RestAssured).
  • Proficiency with Git-based version control and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (SFDX/CLI, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security (profiles, permission sets, FLS, sharing, encryption), declarative configuration, programmatic customization, and data integration (REST and middleware).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning, flows, Apex triggers, and declarative automation.
  • Skilled in writing automation scripts using Java, JavaScript, or equivalent languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to explain complex, technical SF concepts to non-technical stakeholders and technical, non-Salesforce, staff Strong proficiency in English language
  • Agile methodology Must have experience estimating work in an Agile methodology Must have familiarity with the standard Agile ceremonies

Preferred Qualification:

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Developer).
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin) for test case automation.
  • Familiarity with performance testing (e.g., JMeter) and data-driven test automation.
  • Knowledge of test management integrations (Jira + Xray/Zephyr, ADO).
  • Experience with Salesforce CLI/SFDX, Salesforce Inspector, and sandbox management.
  • Understanding of test data masking and anonymization in sandbox environments.
