Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer (Automation SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cybersecurity and automation, with a strong focus on implementing and managing security solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can design, develop, and maintain automated security processes to enhance the organization's security posture.
Responsibilities: - Design and implement automated security solutions to protect organizational assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze security systems to detect and respond to threats.
- Provide expertise in cybersecurity tools and technologies to enhance automation efforts.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity and automation.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages for automation.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.

Pay Range: $45 - $53/hour on W2
