Job Description
- Mayo Enterprise Architecture Seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong backend and AI development experience to provide temporary engineering capacity supporting the development of digital tools for the Enterprise Architecture practice and Architecture Assurance process.
- The resource will work with Architecture and engineering teams to develop and integrate backend services, data capabilities, user-facing functionality, and AI-enabled features.
- Work will include developing capabilities that make Architecture standards, patterns, and guidance easier to find and use; automating Architecture Assurance workflows; integrating with other enterprise systems; and developing AI-enabled functionality to support the Architecture practice.
Key skills and experience:
-Strong full stack software engineering experience, with particular depth in backend and database development
-Ability to contribute to front-end/UI development
-Experience designing and integrating APIs and backend services
-Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and build/deployment pipelines
-Hands-on GenAI development experience, including RAG, LangChain or similar frameworks, and AI-enabled application development
-Experience using AI-assisted development tools and practices
-Cloud development experience; Google Cloud Platform and/or Azure preferred
-Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to operate independently as a hands-on individual contributor
-Experience developing production-ready solutions across the software development lifecycle
-Healthcare technology experience preferred
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience as noted below; OR an Associate's degree in Computer/Science/Engineering or related field with 7 years of experience. Have in-depth knowledge of software engineering with experience coding applications or services in a high-level language (C, C++, Golang, Java, C# etc.) and a basic knowledge of related fields. Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills. Possesses strong technical aptitude for designing and implementing software solutions. Experience with modern application development frameworks Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Deep hands-on technical expertise, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Agile software development techniques.
