Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be an essential part of the Service Department supporting a team committed to excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title:Field Service Engineer
Pay Range:$83,000 - $110,000
What\'s the Job?
\t- Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of CNC machine tools on location or by telephone. \t
- Create and update documentation of technical information and generate reports related to service activities. \t
- Assist and train Customer?s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines. \t
- Establish and maintain exemplary communication and customer service relationships with clients. \t
- Manage challenging customer situations positively, respond promptly to needs, and solicit feedback to improve service quality.
What\'s Needed?
\t- High School diploma, GED, or Associate Degree in a technical-related field. \t
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools. \t
- Experience working with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls is a plus. \t
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation. \t
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
