Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and SDLC methodologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements while supporting the successful delivery of enterprise applications.

Required Qualifications

Overall 12+ years of experience required.

8+ years of experience eliciting business and system requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and other requirement-gathering techniques.

8+ years of experience working across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

8+ years of experience in business process re-engineering (BPR) and process flow analysis to improve operational efficiency.

8+ years of experience creating detailed user stories, use cases, functional requirements, business requirements, and acceptance criteria following business analysis best practices.

8+ years of experience designing wireframes, mockups, and process flows that align with UX/UI best practices.

5+ years of demonstrated experience with excellent verbal communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.

5+ years of demonstrated experience producing high-quality documentation with strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.

4+ years of documented experience working with or for the Texas Education Agency (TEA), or another federal, state, or local education agency, or an education technology (EdTech) vendor.

2+ years of hands-on experience using Atlassian Jira for issue tracking, backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile project execution.

2+ years of experience using Modern Requirements for requirements management, traceability, documentation, and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience supporting Educator Certification programs or related education initiatives.

Previous experience working with Educator Preparation Program (EPP) Data Collection and Accountability processes.
