Position OverviewCG Infinity is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain data visualization solutions that empower business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, data modeling, and storytelling through data, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud
- Translate business requirements into scalable and intuitive data visualizations
- Build and optimize data sources, extracts, and dashboards for performance and usability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Conduct data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy
- Implement best practices in data visualization, dashboard design, and governance
- Maintain and enhance existing Tableau reports and dashboards
- Integrate Tableau with various data sources (SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.)
- Support data-driven decision-making through compelling storytelling and analytics
- Document solutions, processes, and technical designs
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Tableau development
- Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and/or Tableau Cloud
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle)
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with ETL processes/tools (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica, dbt, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python or R) for data analysis
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Data Analyst)
