Position: Java Production Support / SRE Engineer
Location: Westerville, OH 100% Onsite
Duration: Contract to Hire (RTH)
Interview Process: 2 rounds via Zoom
About the Role
We are seeking a Java Engineer with strong experience in SRE and production support. The role will involve application development, deployments, production incident management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining application reliability within a critical banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Java code changes.
- Deploy application changes across various environments.
- Provide production incident support, troubleshooting, and triaging.
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Apply SRE best practices to improve application reliability and performance.
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations approximately once every 4 5 weeks, with a compensatory day off during the week.
Must-Have Skills
- 3 5 years of hands-on Java programming experience.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Strong SRE / Site Reliability Engineering background.
- Experience in production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with ATM technology.
- Banking or financial services experience.

- A degree is not mandatory.
- This is a 100% onsite position in Westerville, OH.
