We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for our commercial and residential clients. Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Work with blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prolong the life of HVAC systems.
• Maintain inventory of company-provided tools and equipment.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected outcomes, obtaining customer's approvals, and providing recommendations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing split systems, rooftop units, and chillers.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems.
• Must possess a clean driving record and pass an MVR check.
• Strong understanding of HVAC operations, with a focus on preventive maintenance.
• Excellent repair skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within the allocated timeframe.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers, peers, and management.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in variable weather conditions.
• Availability for on-call duty and emergencies as required.
