Summary

This is an opportunity to join an established operations analytics team as an Operations Analyst. The team uses SQL and Tableau alongside internal reporting and operational tools to analyze data, support business decisions, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the freight network.

This role is a good fit for an early-career analyst who has a foundation in SQL and Tableau and wants to build on those skills in a collaborative environment. You will learn the business from experienced analysts and work closely with the team to understand internal systems, reporting processes, and the operational knowledge that helps the company run. The team is looking for someone curious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn not someone expected to know every process on day one.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Working proficiency in SQL, including writing queries to retrieve and analyze data.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, such as building, maintaining, or using dashboards and reports.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teammates and other departments.
  • A willingness to learn internal systems, business processes, and team-specific knowledge.

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown
  • Microsoft Excel and internal business systems
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to pull data from business systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Use Tableau and other reporting tools to help identify trends, explain findings, and support decision-making.
  • Review data for accuracy and help investigate reporting issues or inconsistencies.
  • Learn internal systems, workflows, and operational processes through training and collaboration with experienced team members.
  • Support projects related to pricing, freight network efficiency, and broader operational goals as knowledge develops.
