Retail and Marcom Engineering, an IS&T team, builds and operates the systems and experiences that connect Apple's products with its customers. The team owns the technology behind both Apple's online and physical stores and drives the interactive marketing experiences and tools that keep creative operations moving. Together, those functions deliver the technology behind every product story Apple tells and every purchase a customer makes.\n\nThe IS&T Retail Engineering organization is seeking a passionate project management expert to own large, complex, initiatives that shape the development of both software and hardware solutions. In this role, you will define and execute strategies that align cross-functional teams, drive clarity in ambiguous business challenges, and deliver scalable solutions that contribute to our platform's long-term success. You will leverage technical depth, strategic systems thinking, and high-impact communication to navigate complexity and influence key decisions across engineering, product, and business domains.

5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project management\nExperience in software development life cycle methodologies\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or a minimum of 5\nyears of relevant experience.

Proven ability to drive multi-year, multi-team programs that require both customer and technical focus.\nExperience leading customer-facing software initiatives, balancing business objectives, customer impact, and engineering constraints.\nExperience with enterprise-scale software development lifecycles, including launch strategies, compliance, and operational scaling.\nExperience successfully completing and delivering projects using an Agile methodology.\nExperience managing cross-org dependencies across multiple engineering, product, and business teams.\nProficiency in setting up governance models, decision-making frameworks, and program health metrics.\nAbility to drive consistency in execution across different teams, priorities, and timelines.\nProven track record of influencing at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives, through clear and compelling written and verbal communication.\nExperience handling multi-functional trade-offs, ensuring collaboration rather than friction across engineering, product, and design teams.\nStrong facilitation and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize across competing workstreams and lead teams to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.\nDemonstrated experience managing program budgets and forecasting resource needs across multi-team initiatives.\nStrong understanding of engineering workflows and architectural trade-offs, including highly available, distributed, and scalable enterprise systems, even if not hands-on coding.\nFamiliarity with scalable architectures, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software development best practices.\nProven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with frequent change and evolving priorities.\nPMP or Scrum Master certification preferred.
