Program Manager is responsible for overall project communications with COR and Government staff, and overall implementations including resource updates, tracking of resource activities, milestone deliverable progress, issue tracking, critical path monitoring, schedule dependency issues, status reporting, contingency activities, upgrades, and migrations. This includes gathering requirements, project management (managing deliverables and project plan, including status meeting and reports, meetings, managing action items, completing all project deliverables, etc.), consulting and advising regarding product functionality and best practice uses of software. The Program Manager is responsible for all activities within the scope of this PWS. Additionally, this role provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams as well as provides recommendations and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of technical issues.
Qualifications as stated:
- Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management, Finance, Accounting or related degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
- Minimum 10 years of experience of program management on contracts of similar scope and complexity
- Certified in Project Management Professional (PMP) & Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Demonstrated experience planning and managing multiple tasks / contracts
- Demonstrated technical management and supervisory experience
- Experience coordinating large planning efforts for enterprise software/hardware solutions
- Highly recommend experience implementing large-scale OpenText products
