Job Title: SAP MDG Consultant

Location: Onsite – Bay Area, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to lead Master Data Governance initiatives, including implementation, configuration, and support of SAP MDG solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data governance frameworks, data modeling, workflow configuration, and integration with SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP MDG implementation and support projects.

• Configure and customize SAP MDG for domains such as:

  • Business Partner (BP)

  • Customer

  • Vendor

  • Material Master

  • Finance (optional if required)

• Design and implement data models, workflows, and business rules.

• Configure governance workflows using BRF+ and rule-based validations.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to define data standards and governance processes.

• Integrate SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other third-party systems.

• Support data migration, data replication (DRF), and data quality initiatives.

• Perform system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.

• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of SAP experience with strong SAP MDG expertise

• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG implementation

• Strong knowledge of Data Modeling & Governance Frameworks

• Experience with BRF+, Workflow configuration, and DRF replication

• Integration experience with SAP ECC / S/4HANA

• Understanding of ABAP debugging (preferred)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in automotive or manufacturing domain

• Knowledge of SAP Data Services

• Exposure to SAP Fiori applications for MDG

• Experience with S/4HANA environment
