Summary

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Irving, TX, USA

Duration: 6 Months + Extension

Bill Rate: $70-$90/hour

Job Type: C2C/1099 Contract

Client: To Be Discussed Later

Work Authorization: US-Citizen, H-1B, OPT-EAD, GC-EAD

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and data quality issues.

  • Perform data cleansing, preparation, profiling, and validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

  • Develop and implement data quality standards, controls, and processes.

  • Work collaboratively with data teams to integrate and automate data pipelines and data-processing workflows.

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business and operational stakeholders.

  • Translate complex datasets and analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights.

  • Write and optimize T-SQL queries for data analysis, validation, manipulation, and troubleshooting.

  • Work with database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and related SQL components.

  • Investigate data discrepancies and trace issues back to specific data sources, tables, columns, transformations, or business processes.

  • Contribute to data modeling and data infrastructure initiatives in relational and dimensional environments.

  • Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and quality assurance activities.

  • Develop and implement appropriate tests at different stages of the application and data lifecycle.

  • Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve data analytics, governance, quality, and operational efficiency.

  • Contribute to technology-specific standards, best practices, and success criteria from design through deployment.

  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and drive appropriate actions based on data findings.

  • Support data governance, data quality, and master data management initiatives.

  • Work effectively with limited supervision while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
