Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience after completing a Bachelor’s degree and be open to relocating anywhere in the United States based on project requirements.

This is a long-term contract opportunity on W2, with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates once placed on a project.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend teams
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are met
Support application deployments and post-release maintenance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of hands-on Android development experience (post-Bachelor’s)
Strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin
Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web service integration
Familiarity with MVVM/MVP architecture patterns
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with Jetpack components
Knowledge of mobile security best practices
Exposure to CI/CD tools for mobile applications
Experience with cloud services is a plus

Additional Information

Only candidates open to relocation within the USA will be considered
Rate: $30–$35/hour on W2 (all inclusive)
Visa sponsorship available for long-term projects
