Pay Rate: $30 – $35/hour on W2 (All Inclusive)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience after completing a Bachelor’s degree and be open to relocating anywhere in the United States based on project requirements.

This is a long-term contract opportunity on W2, with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates once placed on a project.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend teams

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries

• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are met

• Support application deployments and post-release maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of hands-on Android development experience (post-Bachelor’s)

• Strong experience with Java and/or Kotlin

• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web service integration

• Familiarity with MVVM/MVP architecture patterns

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack components

• Knowledge of mobile security best practices

• Exposure to CI/CD tools for mobile applications

• Experience with cloud services is a plus

Additional Information

• Only candidates open to relocation within the USA will be considered

• Rate: $30–$35/hour on W2 (all inclusive)
