Infrastructure Accounting Analyst, Data Center

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Accountant III for a contract position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Austin, TX. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will work well with cross-functional teams, provide accounting and process guidance for decision making, and manage a significant portion of our client's infrastructure investment. The candidate must be a highly driven, high energy, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting for several data center construction projects from record to report including responsibility for month end close processes and SOX controls
• Own multiple balance sheet accounts and the corresponding sub-ledger for varying levels of complexity
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Infrastructure Business Partners to understand the broader business objectives, develop processes jointly and provide accounting guidance
• Identify process gaps and independently develop and implement solutions
• Provide support to finance management and other cross functional partners as needed, including ad hoc financial analysis, technical analysis, and special projects

Requirements:

• Excellent team player who is adept at working as part of a larger team located in different locations
• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of financial statement auditing, financial accounting, or similar experience
• Experience analyzing large data sets and working with business partners to effect changes
• Experience in optimizing or re-designing existing processes resulting from business needs

Desired skills:

• Big 4 audit experience and CPA
• Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion

Pay range: up to $53.18 per hour
