In this role, you'll set the technical direction for a portfolio of tools and services to support AI powered development: from skills, CLI tools, workflows and novel agentic systems that serve both human developers and autonomous systems. You'll be responsible for a focused and talented team of engineers delivering these tools and services, as well as supporting the broader engineering org as we adopt and iterate on new tools and workflows.\n\nThis role requires both hands on technical depth with AI systems and iOS codebases, and proven leadership managing high performance teams and leading groups through transitions. You will partner with EPMs, peer engineering managers and senior leadership to manage your roadmap and deliver outstanding results.\n
10+ years of professional software engineering experience including Apple platform technologies like iOS & macOS frameworks, Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, etc\n5+ years managing engineering teams that design complex software systems\nBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional projects that have had a tangible impact on the direction of the org\nStrong organizational skills and experience working on large multi-functional teams\nStrong Computer Science fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and design skills\nExcellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills\nExtensive engineering experience with one or more Apple platforms - iOS, watchOS, macOS\nExperience leading software engineering teams through change\n
