Power Platform Application Developer – SharePoint Modernization

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint and Microsoft 365 professional to support and modernize enterprise collaboration platforms, with a primary focus on migrating legacy Nintex forms and workflows to the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Canvas Apps and Power Automate Flows).

This is not a traditional SharePoint administration role. While maintaining the health and governance of SharePoint Online environments is important, the primary objective of this position is to analyze, redesign, and rebuild existing Nintex-based business solutions into scalable, enterprise-ready Power Platform applications and automation workflows.

You will play a key role in transforming legacy workflow implementations into modern, maintainable solutions aligned with Microsoft 365 governance standards, deployment best practices, and enterprise development patterns (including environment variables and solution lifecycle management).

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience supporting Nintex forms and workflows and is comfortable translating those implementations into Canvas Apps and Power Automate Flows that improve reliability, usability, and long-term scalability.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys building solutions, modernizing platforms, and executing enterprise-scale Nintex-to-Power Platform migrations while ensuring the stability and governance of SharePoint environments.

Key Responsibilities

Nintex Migration & Power Platform Modernization

Support and maintain existing Nintex forms and workflows, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
Lead and execute the migration of Nintex solutions to Power Platform, including rebuilding workflows as Power Automate flows and forms as Canvas Apps.
Analyze existing Nintex implementations and design equivalent or improved solutions on the Power Platform.
Build, enhance, and support Canvas Apps and automated flows to meet business requirements.
Apply enterprise development best practices including:

Use of environment variables

Solution packaging and deployment standards

Reusable components and scalable design patterns

Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable automation solutions.
Continuously improve automation reliability, performance, and usability.

SharePoint Administration & Platform Support

Administer and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, permissions, governance controls, and storage management.
Review, approve, and process SharePoint site requests and catalog tasks through ServiceNow.
Ensure platform health, compliance, and adherence to governance standards.
Provide consultation and troubleshooting support for Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.

Incident & Change Management

Track, triage, and resolve incidents and change requests within ServiceNow.
Participate in root cause analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain operational documentation and platform standards.

Platform Modernization & Projects

Contribute to platform modernization initiatives focused on automation enablement, scalability, security, and user experience.
Support migration projects involving SharePoint sites, workflows, forms, and business applications.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to align platform capabilities with organizational standards and long-term roadmap.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online in an enterprise environment.

Strong experience managing site collections, permissions, storage, governance, and user access.

Hands-on experience supporting and migrating Nintex forms and workflows.

Strong working experience building Power Platform solutions, including Canvas Apps and Power Automate Flows.

Ability to translate Nintex workflows into scalable Power Platform solutions.

Understanding of enterprise development practices, including environment variables and solution lifecycle management.

Experience with ServiceNow for incident, request, and change management.

Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).

Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven self-starter mentality with a bias toward ownership and execution.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading Nintex-to-Power Platform migration initiatives.
Advanced Power Platform development experience (complex flows, Canvas App design, integrations).
Familiarity with Microsoft governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Experience supporting large enterprise or regulated environments.
Microsoft certifications (SharePoint, Power Platform, M365) a plus.
