Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Data Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare data platforms and modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage Fabric ingestion pipelines following UT-HIP medallion architecture standards (data quality, lineage, de-identification)
Integrate clinical, research, and institutional datasets using standardized data models (OMOP/Caboodle preferred)
Ingest and manage external industry datasets and analytical models into the platform repository
Develop log analytics and observability dashboards to monitor pipeline performance and platform health
Ensure data governance, compliance, and reliability across the data platform

Required Skills:

Strong experience in data engineering and pipeline development
Experience with healthcare data models (OMOP, Caboodle preferred)
Hands-on with data ingestion, transformation, and data quality frameworks
Experience with analytics, monitoring, and observability tools
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
