Job Details
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on printing, finishing, and related production equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and component replacements.
Diagnose problems involving motors, drives, sensors, wiring, belts, bearings, and other machine components.
Read equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to support repairs.
Coordinate with equipment vendors and service technicians when specialized support is needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and identify necessary replacement parts.
Support general facility maintenance as needed.
Follow safe maintenance practices, including lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or electromechanical troubleshooting.
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
Comfortable prioritizing repairs and working independently.
Strong communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Experience with printing, finishing, packaging, or similar production equipment is a plus.
Technical training in industrial maintenance, electronics, or a related field is helpful.
