Role- Inventory Management consultant

Location- 43940 Digital Loudoun Plaza Ashburn, VA, 20147

Buy Rate-$20/HR on W2 no benefits or $25/HR on 1099

• Manage day-to-day processes, standards, and compliance for customer data center hardware assets.
• Receive hardware deliveries, update the asset database, and ensure proof of delivery.
• Monitor in-transit orders, flag anomalies, and escalate discrepancies for resolution.
• Track and update asset locations in the database with high accuracy and integrity.
• Oversee warehouse/stockroom management, security, and adherence to policies.
• Lead physical hardware audits and ensure governance in asset tracking operations.
• Support distribution of assets across data centers, ensuring accurate tracking
• Manage spares inventory and parts locker program to support operational needs.
• Process returns (RMA), update asset statuses, and track replacements accurately.
• Coordinate EOL asset recovery/disposal with ITAD vendors, ensuring compliance.
• Investigate and escalate discrepancies in asset records, including EOL assets
• Review and resolve asset-related tickets (requests, disposals, RMAs, anomalies).
