About the Job- We are looking for an experienced SAP PaPM / Finance Project Manager to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP PaPM, SAP FI/CO, project management along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Job Description:
Role Summary:
Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management) and Finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements (SOX/GxP), and SAP best practices. Drive program governance, stakeholder engagement, and successful execution across design, build, and deployment phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP PaPM and Finance transformation programs (S/4HANA, Central Finance, FP&A integration).
- Lead planning, budgeting, resource management, and delivery governance (Agile/Hybrid SAP Activate).
- Oversee PaPM solution design for profitability modeling, allocations, cost transparency, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (FI/CO, BW, PaPM, Integration, Data, Security).
- Drive Fit-Gap, solution architecture alignment, and quality assurance across SDLC phases.
- Ensure compliance with SOX/GxP controls, audit readiness, and financial reporting standards.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and executive-level reporting (SteerCo/CIO updates).
- Oversee testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPI frameworks and performance analytics.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years in SAP Finance delivery, including 2–3 PaPM implementations.
- Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO, PaPM modeling (allocations, cost flows, profitability analysis).
- Experience in S/4HANA transformation programs (Brownfield/Greenfield).
- Proven project management experience (SAP Activate, Agile/DevOps delivery models).
- Familiarity with data integration (BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, ETL tools).
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred:
- Exposure to Life Sciences/MedTech (SOX/GxP compliance).
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and financial planning.
- PMP/Scrum or SAP certifications.
