IAM Operational Manager (Ping / Microsoft Entra)

West Coast Only 100% Remote (USA West Coast Residents) Independent Contractors Only | Contract through Dec 2026 NO 3rd Parties

Overview: Client seeks an IAM Operational Manager with strong operational leadership across Ping Identity and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD). This is not a handson engineering role. The manager will oversee IAM operations, mentor staff, and ensure stability across identity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor IAM operations team

• Oversee daily IAM workflows, SLAs, and platform stability

• Provide operational oversight of Ping Identity (SSO, MFA, federation)

• Manage Microsoft Entra / Azure AD (lifecycle, conditional access, governance)

• Support Active Directory access and group management

• Participate in SailPoint certification cycles (light involvement)

• Drive incident resolution and rootcause analysis

Required Skills

• Strong operational experience with Ping Identity

• Strong operational experience with Microsoft Entra / Azure AD

• Proven IAM team management / mentoring background

• Enterprise IAM operations experience

• Active Directory experience

• SailPoint exposure (minimal acceptable)

• Must reside on the U.S. West Coast

• Must be an Independent Contractor
