Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and lifting techniques, and support all site HSE goals.
- Perform and document material inspections in compliance with procedures and specifications.
- Quarantine materials that do not meet specifications per local procedures.
- Collaborate with the QA Disposition team to ensure timely material release and prevent production delays.
- Inspect and evaluate damaged materials received or found in the warehouse to determine disposition.
- Assess and document temperature excursions for incoming shipments.
- Identify and resolve issues with inbound shipments (e.g., incorrect quantity, contamination, product discrepancies).
- Execute transactions in SAP to maintain accurate material status (e.g., QI, blocked, scrapped).
- Initiate supplier complaints or remarks for materials that fail to meet Lilly's quality expectations.
- Participate in investigations related to material or service complaints as needed.
- Author or revise SOPs, material specifications, and other controlled documents.
- Collaborate with other quality functions and support supplier change notifications (SCNs).
- Participate in and support regulatory inspections as required.
- High school diploma required; BA/BS in a scientific discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of cGMP regulations relevant to QA warehouse and inspection activities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and applications, including SAP and SmartLab.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support production demands.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to lead solutions to resolution while ensuring the safety of others.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
