Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Engineer III to support engineering and project management activities related to pipeline systems, storage facilities, measurement systems, and associated infrastructure within the energy/midstream sector.

This role is responsible for engineering design, project execution, operational support, optimization initiatives, and coordination of construction activities across various facilities and assets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering and project management activities related to:
    • Transmission and gathering pipeline systems
    • Measurement and regulation facilities
    • Compressor and pump stations
    • Dehydration plants
    • Hydrocarbon storage facilities
  • Support design, procurement, construction, optimization, and operational initiatives for company assets
  • Manage project activities including:
    • Bid proposals and contracts
    • Cost estimates and budgeting
    • Scheduling and timeline management
    • Change management and MOC processes
    • Construction coordination and contractor oversight
  • Conduct engineering analyses including:
    • Hydraulic calculations
    • Pipeline sizing and evaluation
    • Flow analysis
    • Equipment efficiency evaluations
    • Load studies and system capacity assessments
  • Prepare and review:
    • Engineering studies
    • Technical specifications
    • Contracts and project documentation
    • Regulatory and compliance documentation
    • Cost estimates and project reports
  • Analyze operational performance and recommend improvements related to:
    • System capacity
    • Measurement accuracy
    • Operating costs
    • Facility optimization
  • Provide technical support related to:
    • Pipeline and facility operations
    • Equipment/system design
    • Construction and maintenance activities
    • Process safety and compliance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Petroleum Engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant engineering and/or project management experience within:
    • Pipeline operations
    • Midstream facilities
    • Hydrocarbon processing/storage
    • Measurement and regulation systems
  • Experience with:
    • Pipeline/facility engineering design
    • Construction support and project execution
    • Engineering studies and technical documentation
    • Budgeting and cost management
    • Industry regulations and standards
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Pipeline systems and operations
    • Facility design and maintenance
    • Hydraulic and flow analysis
    • Structural/material considerations
    • Process safety practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Project, and Word
