Job Title: Guidewire Jutro Consultant
Location: Glen Allen, VA
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Jutro Consultant to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of digital portal solutions using Guidewire Jutro. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations, frontend architecture, and modern UI/UX development practices within Insurance domain environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end development and delivery of Guidewire Jutro-based digital portals
• Define frontend architecture, reusable component strategy, theming, and extensibility models
• Collaborate with Guidewire PolicyCenter integration teams to consume REST APIs and Integration Gateway services
• Design secure, scalable, and high-performance frontend solutions using React.js and TypeScript
• Implement responsive, accessible, and brand-aligned UI/UX flows
• Develop, unit test, review, and deliver user stories within Agile environments
• Establish standards for state management, frontend security, observability, and performance optimization
• Perform code reviews and oversee offshore team deliverables prior to client release
• Support CI/CD pipelines, frontend testing, and release management processes
• Partner with business analysts, product owners, and client stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution delivery
• Drive technical governance, localization standards, and design system consistency
Required Skills & Experience:
• 7–10 years of frontend development experience
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Jutro
• Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JWT authentication, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with modern frontend architecture, design systems, and component libraries
• Hands-on experience in accessibility, cross-browser testing, and frontend performance optimization
• Insurance domain experience with Quote/Bind/Endorsement workflows preferred
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience leading onshore/offshore teams
• Exposure to Guidewire Digital Portal implementations
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
