Job Description The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic and operational partner to the CIO and Technology leadership team, driving enterprise-wide initiatives, operational excellence, and organizational transformation. This role operates at the intersection of executive enablement, strategic execution, and culture-requiring exceptional judgment, executive presence, and the ability to navigate seamlessly between strategic vision and operational delivery
Key Responsibilities
Executive Enablement & Governance - Act as primary point of coordination for the CIO, managing priorities, cadence, and information flow
- Prepare and quality-assure executive presentations for Board Reviews, ExCo, QBRs, Investor Days, and leadership forums, ensuring strategic alignment and clarity
- Lead governance for the Technology management team: meeting rhythm, agendas, decision tracking, and follow-through
- Synthesize reporting across business lines, surfacing key risks, themes, and insights for CIO decision-making
- Maintain unified visibility of the CIO's strategic agenda across the organization
Strategic Planning & IT Strategy Execution - Collaborate with the CIO and COO to define and drive IT strategic priorities and transformation initiatives
- Support development and implementation of the CIO Operating Model and Target Operating Model
- Lead or co-lead high-priority cross-divisional initiatives and strategic programs (e.g., Disruption Days, Technical Pilots)
- Prepare briefing materials, business cases, and executive updates for transformation programs
- Provide project management and governance support for new initiatives
Technology People Strategy - Own and drive the Tech-wide people agenda in partnership with HR, covering engagement, culture, and talent development
- Lead campus recruitment programs (intern and graduate pipelines) including strategy, hiring targets, and onboarding excellence
- Serve as key lead for global Catalyst events (town halls, innovation days, all-hands), overseeing design, logistics, and outcomes
- Champion learning and development culture; identify gaps, broker solutions, and track impact
- Support organizational design, change management, and transition communications
- Partner with senior leaders on Women in Technology (WIT), retention priorities, and inclusion initiatives
Communications & Engagement - Execute the CIO Communication Plan, managing internal communications and external brand awareness
- Coordinate external engagements including industry conferences, client events, speaking opportunities, articles, and podcasts
- Develop and execute strategies for strengthening engagement across all corporate titles globally
Business Operations - Maintain organizational artifacts including org charts, role definitions, and management agendas
- Manage administrative processes: SOX recertifications, policy renewals, travel/conference approvals, tracking, and reporting
- Flex into emerging priorities as the Technology agenda evolves
Qualifications & Experience
- Significant experience in a Chief of Staff, strategy, or senior business management role within financial services or technology
- Demonstrable track record operating at or alongside C-suite level in a complex, matrixed organization
- Strong executive communication skills; written, verbal, and visual; able to construct compelling narratives for senior audiences
- Experience owning people or talent programs, with an authentic interest in culture and employee experience
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without loss of quality
- Sound commercial and strategic judgement; comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive clarity
Preferred
- Background in technology or engineering organizations within investment banking or capital markets
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and operating rhythms in a regulated financial institution
- Forward thinker, quick learner, innovative ideas, operates with sense of urgency
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $175,000 - $200,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
